The troubles we go through
The pain and ache of today
Hoping tomorrow will come soon
Wanting to forget yesterday
And start anew
Life is hard and hurts
And all we have hope for is
What comes after
The glorious Home
Which He made for us
But now here we live
In a place where darkness dwells
Let through us
His wondrous Light shine
To the wandering souls
Who search for love
In all the wrong places
Let us show Jesus
In the places He would tread
Were He here in your place
His love pierces the coldest
Of hearts
The hardest of souls
His Fire thaws and melts
His River cools and refreshes
His Judgment makes us better
His Word is our guide
He is I AM.
