DROP COOKIES AND ROLLS

RECEIPES FOR






CHOCOLATE DROPS

1 pkg or 1 cup choc chips
1 pkg or 1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chow mein noodles (or broken pretzels)
1 cup peanuts

Melt chips and add the noodles (or pretzels) and peanuts. Drop by spoonfull on wax paper to set and then put in a container and refrigerate until needed
This receipe can be made with melted white chocolate instead of the choc and butterscotch chippets for a variation.




CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE BALLS

4 oz Philadelphis cream cheese (or equivalent)
1 cup butterscotch chippets
1 cup chocolate chippets
1 cup miniature marshmellows
1 small bottle marachino cherries cut up

Melt chippets and blend in cheese
Cool a bit and add marshmellows and cherries
Form into rolls and roll in coconut.
Refrigerate and cut in slices.




CHOCOLATE COCONUT DROP COOKIES

This receipe is the simplest and My kids favorite they call them the worm cookies. They would even make these themselves.

2 cups w sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup milk

Combine above ingredients and bring to a boil on the stove. Take off stove and add

3 cups rolled oats
6 Tbsp bakers powdered cocoa
1 cup coconut
1 tsp vanilla

Drop by spoonfull onto wax paper.
when set put in a container in the frig





DATE COCONUT BALLS

In a lge frypan melt 2 heaping Tbsp butter
Add 1 cup brown sugar
1 egg well beaten
3/4 cup chopped dates
pinch salt

Cook slowly,stiring constantly for 10-15 min
Remove from heat and add
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbsp of chopped maraachino cherries
3/4 cup coconut
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

When partly cooled shape into small balls and roll into coconut or vanilla wafer crumbs or graham cracker crumbs. Refrigerate in containers.





PEANUT BUTTER FINGERS

1 cup peanutbutter
1 cup icening sugar
1 1/2 cups rice Krispies
3 Tbsp soft margarine

Combine these 4 ingredients and shape into long rolls like fingers. Refrigerate until firm.
Make a thin butter icening and roll the fingers in the mixture and roll in coconut.

Chill and keep in refrigerator in sealed containers until ready to serve.
