Kyle was born in Buffalo, New York but was raised in Chicago until the age of 11. His family moved to Loganville, Georgia where Kyle spent most of his adolescent life. Kyle was a drama major in college. He started working for a number of television roles and is well known for his role as Jeff Metcalf in the ABC series, "Homefront". Kyle won Best Television Actor honors at the 23rd Annual Saturn Awards hosted by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films for his role of Gary Hobson in the show Early Edition. He received a nomination for an Outer Critics Circle Award for his role in the 1994 Broadway revival of William Inge's play, "Picnic." Kyle lives with his wife Katherine and daughter Sydney.
