The car, called the Evoq, is being built on the Chevrolet Corvette's platform
and will be powered by Cadillac's Northstar V-8, the
first time that engine has been used in a
rear-wheel-drive configuration. Under construction at Metalcrafters in Fountain Valley, Calif., the Evoq concept is 10 inches shorter than the Corvette and has a retractable hardtop Among the extras this car is equiped with, it also comes with night vision. Basically, night vision is a driver enhancement system that gives an extra view of the road ahead. Infrared technology detects thermal energy of objects beyond the range of the headlamps or hidden behind the glare of the oncoming lights. This machine is also equiped with the North Star system, Bose audio system, adaptive seating massaging lumbar, stabiltrax, rear obstacle detection system, onboard infotainment system for use with voice recognition and more. |
