Muslim extremists stabb a Buddhist monk to death in Rauzan

On 21 April 2002 at about 12.30 a.m, a group of well‑armed Islamic extremists stabbed to death Rev. Gyanajyoti Mahasthabir of Hingla Buddha Vihar in Dabua Union of Rauzan within Chittagong district. The extremists also desecrated the Buddhist Vihar, damaged the images of the Lord Buddha and took away all the valuables.
