Bengali settlers rape an indigenous Tripura girl in Bandarban

On 12 April 2018, Muslim settlers raped a 15 year old indigenous Tripura girl at Tulatoli in Alikadom, Bandarban district. Muslim settlers were identified as Mohammad Abdul Shukkur (22) and Mohammad Sohel (20).

4 Muslim settlers abducted the 15-year-old girl from Alikadom Bazar on 12 April at noon. They took her to remote Tulatoli area of Alikadom and raped her that night.

The indigenous girl is from Dalujirri Para under Kurukpata union in Alikadom, Bandarban district. Muslim settlers also threatened the girl and her family not to disclose the matter to anyone. The victim was admitted to Bandarban Sadar Hospital on 13 April for medical examination.
