On 15 March 2015, Bangladeshi security forces attacked indigenous peple in Dighinala. Indigenous people were demostrating against construction of BGB headquarter at Babuchara in Dighinala. At least 8 indigenous people were injured in the attack.

Bangladesh army arrest an indigenous Chakma Buddhist in Manikchari

On 25 August 2015, Bangladesh army arrested an indigenous Buddhist man named Boishista Chakma (32) at Dojoripara in Manikchari, Khagrachari district.

Bangladesh army personnel from Sindukchari zone arrested him at 6 pm after raiding Dojoripara village where he lives with his in-laws. Bangladesh army searched the house of his father-in-law Mr. Chamakya Chakma (50) who was not at home at the time.

Bangladesh army arrested Mr. Boishista Chakma son of Hokkana Chakma of Shuknachari village in Laxmichari because they failed to arrest his father-in-law.
