In May 1986, Bangladesh army personnel gang raped Mrs. Subodhini Tripura (25) wife of Mr. Tripura of Rambabu Dheba, Matiranga and then attacked her with knife. She took refuge at Tripura state of India with her family. This photo was taken at refugee camp in Tripura, India.

Bengali settlers attempt to rape a minor Chakma girl in Naniarchor

On 2 October 2014 around at 4:00pm Muslim settlers attempted to rape a minor Chakma girl (14) from Nanakrum village in Naniarchor. The Muslim settlers was identified as Kabir Hossain (45), son of Abdur Rashid of Bogachari in Naniarchor. On the same day a case was filed against Kabir Hossain with Naniarchar police station at 10:30 pm under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.

On that day, during the incident the victim was staying alone in her house. Knowing this, Kabir Hossain entered into the house and forcefully taken the victim out from house and tried to take her to nearby jungle. The adolescent shouted and peoples from nearby houses came to rescue her. The accused run away from the scene immediately. It was reported that the Muslim settlers attempted to rape sister in law of the victim before.
