In May 1986, Bangladesh army personnel gang raped Mrs. Subodhini Tripura (25) wife of Mr. Tripura of Rambabu Dheba, Matiranga and then attacked her with knife. She took refuge at Tripura state of India with her family. This photo was taken at refugee camp in Tripura, India.

Bangladesh army rape an indigenous Santhal girl in Panchari

On 2 Feb. 1988, Bangladesh army of 43rd East Bengal Regiment from Panchari Zone barbarously raped an indigenous Santhal tribal girl at Kanungo Para in Panchari, Khagrachari district.

Bangladesh army attacked her when she was looking after cattle and they were on patrolling duty. The incident occured at 16:00 hrs (BST). The victim is:

  1. Miss Latoi Santhal, daughter of Mr. Laxmi Ram Santhal of Santhal Para, Kanungo Para, Panchari.
