Indigenous victims of Sajek Muslim attack
On 20 April 2008 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers attacked and burnt down 76 indigenous Buddhist houses in Sajek. The aim of the attack was to drive out the indigenous Buddhist villagers and grab their land. The indigenous Chakma Buddhists and their burnt down houses after the attack.

Bangladesh army torture 2 indigenous Hindu persons in Bileichari

On 2 December 1986, Bangladesh army of 18 EBR from the army camp at Sung Sang led by Capt. Shafi arrested 2 innocent indigenous Hindu persons in Bilaichari, Rangamati district. Bangladesh army took them to the army camp where they were subjected to inhuman beating and tortures. The victims are:

    Mr. Mongol Noni Karbari (45 yrs), son of Mr. Karma Joy Tripura of Reingkhyong, P.S. Bileichari.
