Vira Rani Chakma
On 19 December 1986, Bangladesh army men gang raped Vira Rani Chakma (16) of Nuaram Karbari Para, Dighinala. About 20 Bangladesh army personnel from the Viswa Ram Karbari Para army camp of Dighinala raided the indigenous Chakma village of Nuaram Karbari Para in the morning. All the male inhabitants of the village were taken by force to cut the jungle surrounding the army camp. Bangladesh army encircled the village at 11:00 a.m. and on the pretext of searching entered the houses. All the women and the girls who were in their houses, were stripped by the soldiers and were gang raped. Even the minors were not spared.

Bangladesh army rape and torture indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Longadu

On 18 February 1986, Bangladesh army from Tintilla camp raided the indigenous Chakma villages Deno Atarak Chara and Madhya Adam in Longadu, Rangamati district. During the raid, Bangladesh army tortured, raped and robbed indigenous Buddhist inhbaitants. The victims are:

  1. Rajmohan Chakma (55), son of Kandira Chakma of Bamo Atarak Chara, Longadu.
  2. Mallika Chakma (22), wife of Kishto Ram Chakma of Bama Atarak Chara, Longadu. Bangladesh army gang raped her in front of her husband.
  3. Nagari Chnkma (16) of Bamo Atarak Chara, Longadu. Bangladesh army brutally gang raped her.
  4. Shanti Bilash Chakma (35), son of Sarat Chandra Chakma of Baradam, Longadu.
  5. Bini Mohan Chakma (55), son of Satya Kumar Chakma, of Bamo Atarak Chara, Longadu.
  6. Mrs. Phul Kumari Chakma (47), wife of Bini Mohan Chakma of Bamo Atarak Chara, Longadu.
  7. Jagat Chandra Chakma (60), son of Bratmya Chakma of Bamo Atarak Chara, Longadu.
  8. Sahadev Chakma (60), son of Krishna Kumar Chakma of Bamo Atarak Chara, Longadu.
  9. Sneha Kumar Chakma (35), son of Nagendra Chakma of Bamo Atarak Chara Longadu.
  10. Nila Mohan Chakma (16), son of Sashi Mohan Chakma of Mohajan Para, Longadu.
  11. Bimal Kanti Chakma (22), son of Batya Chakma of Madhya Adam, Longadu.
  12. Anadi Chakma (35), son of Sarat Chandra Chakma of Madhya Adam, Longadu.
