Indigenous victims of Sajek Muslim attack
On 20 April 2008 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers attacked and burnt down 76 indigenous Buddhist houses in Sajek. The aim of the attack was to drive out the indigenous Buddhist villagers and grab their land. The indigenous Chakma Buddhists and their burnt down houses after the attack.

Bangladesh army tortured 2 indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Mohalchari

On 27 January 1986, Bangladesh army from Kyangghat camp surounded the house of Bashi Chakma (42), son of late Robi Chandra Karbari at Madhya Manikchari Para in Mohalchari, Khagrachari district.

Bangladesh army rounded him up and poured 14 litres of water through his mouth and nostrils and made him senseless. Bangladesh army tortured and beat him for 2 hours. Bangladesh broke his wardrobe into pieces and robbed Taka 4000.00 and fowls from him.

On same day Bangladesh army tortured Lalya Chakma (45), son of late Robi Chandra Karbari of Madhyo Manikchari Para in Mohalchari. Bangladesh army robbed a bullock and a goat from him which they slaughtered at Kyanggaht camp.
