In May 1986, Bangladesh army personnel gang raped Mrs. Subodhini Tripura (25) wife of Mr. Tripura of Rambabu Dheba, Matiranga and then attacked her with knife. She took refuge at Tripura state of India with her family. This photo was taken at refugee camp in Tripura, India.

Bangladesh army rape and torture indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Baghaichari

On 20 July 1985, Bangladesh Army of 12th Bengal Regiment led by Capt. Amin rounded up Bhubanjoy Chakma (40), son of Hira Lal Chakma from his home at Balukhali in Baghaichari, Rangamati district. Bangladesh army serverely beat and tortured him. His wife was gang raped by the army personnel.
