In May 1986, Bangladesh army personnel gang raped Mrs. Subodhini Tripura (25) wife of Mr. Tripura of Rambabu Dheba, Matiranga and then attacked her with knife. She took refuge at Tripura state of India with her family. This photo was taken at refugee camp in Tripura, India.

Bangladesh army rape and torture indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Mohalchari

On 1 July 1985, Bangladesh Army of 13th Bengal Regiment from Mohalchari camp led by Capt. Sajjad Hossain beat and tortured Shanti Kumar Chakma (36), son of Dushason Chakma of Khularam Para in Mohalchari, Khagrachari district.

Mr. Chakma is a member of Union Council. Bangladesh army took him to Khularam Para Primary School where he was interrogated and mercilessly beaten. During interrogation 4 buckets of water was poured through his nose and mouth. The victim was taken to Zonal Head Quarter at Guimara.

On the same day Bangladesh army led by Capt. Sajjad Hussein surrounded the house of Binode Bihari Khisa and took his wife Chapala Khisa (37) to Khularam Para Primary School where she was raped by the Captain.
