On 21 December 2012 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers raped and killed Thomaching Marma (14 year) of Baradulu village under Kaukhali. On that day she went to bring back family's cows from nearby forest. The Muslim settlers raped and killed the Buddhist girl when they found her alone in the forest.
Bangladesh army rape and torture indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Panchari
On 12 December 1984, Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) from Logang Bazar Camp and Dhuduk Chara Camp raided Macchua Chara in Panchari, Khagrachari district. During the raid BDR raped an indigenous mother and tortured an indigenous man. The victims are:
Chandra Kanta Chakma (26). BDR took him to the camp, kept him in a ditch for weeks, tortured him and falsely accused him of being member of the Shanti Bahini.
Mrs. Rajalaxmi Chakma (28), wife of Mr. Laxmi Kumar Chakma. While she was breast-feedlng her baby, BDR attacked her. BDR threw away the baby from her and then raped her. BDR took her to the camp and raped her for a week. When she was released her condition was so bad that she had to be carried back on a stretcher.
