FOR LAGNA/ASCENDANT Aug 18 - 25

those new to Vedic astrology, the lagna/ascendant is the sign that
was rising on the eastern horizon at the time of your birth.)
ARIES
The pumping iron scene I wrote a couple of weeks back looks bright
now with Mercury going to Virgo and to his exaltation degrees Thursday
by sunrise. Mercury can also give the strength to fight back hostilities.
Both within like sickness and without like adversary or enemy activities.
This is important as Rahu, Ketu and Pluto are on challenging 2/8
house axis. The cool or empathy in relationships is still a priority
until Sep 11. With a Retrograde and meaner Pluto in your 8th house
and on Mars’ MB or Death Degree conflict and devastation around
the world can escalate and for individuals be cool and look after
your health. More planets are fortunately placed .And more importantly
on 4/5 houses of prestige, dignity and fortune, success in learning
wealth. Mars after being with exalted 9th house ruler of fortune
Jupiter helping more shine in career now joins [Tuesday 06:13h]
the 5th ruler Sun who is on powerful Moola Trikona degrees. Like
I said before the king and the commander on the royal palace and
they perform very well here to raise you up. Both however, on Gandantha
[see box] and do not expect much this week. The Sun until Tuesday
16:04h and Mars until 11:58h on Sunday.
TAURUS
Five planets are aspecting your 11th house which is nice for gain
but not for health. Mercury the money man goes to the 5th house
and will be exalted which will be very nice for $$$. A Raja Yoga
occurs there with ruler Venus on the house of fortune. Very supportive
for creative/artistic /intellectual activities too. On Tuesday Mars
goes to join the Sun [on Moola Trikona] another powerful yoga for
wealth and power. Nice to expand capital assets. The only problem
is Mars could make you emotionally aggressive. Both the Sun and
Mars see the 10th house which boosts your status in the outer world.
Again Mars [being the 12th house ruler] can cause some tensions/changes
in your career. The week begins with the Moon on the 8th house which
is nice for spiritual work and after Tuesday 7:43 am she goes to
the 9th house fortune/travel and on Thursday evening to the 10th
house and that’s lots of positive energy on the work place.
GEMINI
When the Lagna lord gets strong it is always nice for
any individual’s mind, body and spirit. By Thursday sunrise
Mercury begins his exaltation degrees and that means more harmony
in the home environment, good time to add to capital assets, excellent
for success in learning/upgrading skills, and for emotions and creativity,
wealth and prestige. He causes a Rajayoga with Venus on a Kendra
house. Those having strongly placed Rahu in their birth charts will
get more income/wealth. Writers/artists/sales/IT-communication/teachers/counselors
and mostly all trades and business/career get much awaited support
of these two most helpful planets for the rest of the year. Mars
goes to join the Sun on the 3rd house on Tuesday. If you need more
energy and the will to win: both horse-power and velocity this is
it. Tuesday thru to Thursday 5:14 pm could make you restless with
the Moon in the 8th house.
CANCER
The Dhana Yoga $$$ caused by Jupiter and Mars in Lagna ends at 6:13
am Tuesday when Mars moves out to the 2nd house of $$$. There he
begins another with a strong Sun. Note however that both Mars and
the Sun are hooked on obstructing Gandantha/GD zone. The Sun until
Tuesday 4:04 pm and Mars up to 11:58 am on Sunday. They get strong
after that. Your 9th house of fortune is seen by 5 planets which
is nice too for tune and travel. The travel scene looks best where
the 9th house indications are concerned. Specially for long travel.
Of the planets that see the 9th house Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter
are responsible for foreign travel. Mars for career and fortune
and Ketu to enhance fortune if well placed or associated with helpful
planets in your natal chart. Although Mars is your Yoga Karaka or
most helpful this week on GD can even cause some tensions/obstacles
on the work place, specially Thursday evening thru to Sunday.
LEO
We have discussed the neecha banga/destruction of debility of Mars
and Venus. The scene now begins to unfold even better to help your
fortune and $$$. This time no vipareeth/reverse or surprise raja-yogas.
Just plain straight ones. For a starter Mars joins the Sun in your
Lagna. You know that for anything we look for a strongly placed
Lagna lord. Your ruler Sun is in his Moola Trikona house. Leo the
royal palace. Mars and the Sun cause a very fortunate raja yoga
for fortune, wealth and power. The conjunction of the Lagna and
the 9th lord of fortune. See Aries. Both are on GD this week but
get strong after that. The next is the conjunction 10/11 lords Venus
and Mercury. The latter literally is your money-man or the bank
machine. If you thought a debilitated Venus [her debility is cancelled
due to her 3rd house ownership] was not lighting up your career
path wait for Thursday sunrise when Mercury gets there to be exalted.
With Rahu exalted on 10th house should give you unusual skills on
the work place and some psychic powers to understand and benefit
from mass trends.
VIRGO
The bad guy Mars gets to another good spot Tuesday but note his
GD zone transit up to 11:58 am Sunday. Take care not to hurt your
feet, hips or overstrain your eyes. After that Mars [if associated
with current Dashas in your natal chart] could bring glory from
a foreign land or institution. Something sudden and unexpected.
But the best is ruler Mercury coming to get exalted in your Lagna
and join Venus. On Thursday morning. I have written so much about
this most fortunate and powerful Dharma-Karma Raja Yoga of 9/10
lords. Yours to discover. For the airy /intuitive/creative/methodical/
perfectionsit Virgo this is it. Only you can blow it. Even Rahu
on the 9th and exalted can support your fortune and wealth [both
spiritual and material] for the next 12 months and change. More
shine to your career. Advancement. Better job offers. Note your
travel houses are fully loaded. They also mean glory in public life.
As for romance, revving up like a formula car, more noise though.
LIBRA
The unexpected gain that Mars can give to Virgo [see above] applies
to your ruler Venus on the 12th house. Take care not to hurt your
feet and eyes and also your reproductive system. Yet the conjunction
of trikona lords like Venus and Mercury give good results from any
house if other factors are supportive in your natal chart. Sudden
elevation or benefit from any nook or corner of a shrinking Global
Village. Mars and the Sun are strongly placed to give more financial
gain but note their GD transits from Aries. Although Rahu is on
better degrees in the 8th house [this could restore some of your
partners financial well being and your own health] 5 planets are
aspecting your 6th house. Meaning if not careful can cause debts,
legal problems, enemy problems and sickness. Watch the weekend or
rather after Thursday 5:14 pm. Anticipate less cooperation from
your co-workers and be cool with them. Although your 6th house Pisces
is cool/watery by nature planets aspecting it like Saturn.Mars and
Ketu are fiery in nature.
SCORPIO
Let
Jupiter continue to protect you with Divine grace and support your
overall fortune from his exaltation sign your 9th house of fortune,
prime values, higher philosophical side of the mind, travel and
meeting with spiritual gurus. A raja yoga caused jointly by your
ruler and Jupiter now shifts to your 10th house or the highest point
in your chart. The Sun your 10th ruler is strongly in his own house
and ruler Mars joins him. The king and commander meeting at the
palace. Excellent for career advancement, status in the outer world.
Whatever you do will be noticed. This begins on Tuesday but both
are on obstructing GD zone. See Aries. Do not expect much this week.
The beginning of that glorious period begins on Sunday. On Thursday
Mercury goes to the 11th house of major gain and fulfillment to
get himself exalted. Rahu too is better on the 7th and you will
meet or have good relationships with persons outside your cultural
background. The Moon is fine passing 4/5 houses in the 2nd half
of the week. What is your problem now!
SAGITTARIUS
Those who under-estimate Jupiter on the unfavourable 8th house are
like the ones that one philosopher wrote about; “Man’s
tragedy is that once he was a kid” No body supports growing
up like a strong Jupiter. He helps your spiritual growth, the profound
knowledge. This he will carry to dizzy heights after next July when
he goes to your 9th house of fortune, prime values, Dhamma. This
week your 9th house gets hot with Mars joining the Sun on the 9th
house on Tuesday. See Aries for their GD transits. After that they
get very strong to give fortune, luck and grace. Some will even
win lotteries or other unearned income like insurance, inheritance,
gifts etc. That is if the running Dahsas involve the Sun, Mars,
Mercury or planets placed in those fortune houses. By Thursday sunrise,
Mercury who too was a major player in that fortune causing yoga
with the Sun and Mars moves to his own 10th house and to get himself
exalted. When the 9th and 10th lords are strongly placed and supported
by 5th and 11th lords, some Sagittarians are going to get very lucky.
CAPRICORN
Mars
going to join the Sun on the 8th house may warrant more cool and
empathy on the home front and health consciousness. Specially this
week as both will be on GD. See Aries. Mercury who was in the 8th
house moves to his own 9th house on Thursday. He gets exalted and
his better side takes the better of him. Plus a major raja yoga
with Venus the 10th lord. With ruler Saturn on the 6th and Mercury
and Venus on the 9th [Nodes on 5/11 fortune axis] your fortune will
roll well now and may even take you overseas to make fortune foreign
lands. Your spirituality will grow, your soul will be on the ascent.
A conscious effort is needed here as Saturn aspects both the Sun
and Mars in the frustrating 8th house. You emotions have to be consciously
managed because the planetary energies can make you aggressive.
It is not easy for Mercury and Venus, but you can help the 2 planets
to help your fortune.
AQUARIUS
Mars
goes to the 7th house on Tuesday to join the Sun. Being the 10th
house ruler his conjunction with the Sun the 7th ruler is excellent
for power and high status in public life. However both planets are
on GD. See Aries. So do not expect much from them. Mars is on GD
throughout the week and he could cause some obstacles, on the contrary,
in the work place. He gets better after that. Mercury joins Venus
on the 8th house and this is nice both for spiritual and worldly
things. Sudden unexpected fortune. The conjunction of 9/10 lords
give good results from any house, if you run their Dashas or planetary
periods. The Moon needs watching specially when she passes MB,s.
They are tonight 23:57h Monday 01:47h for hurt and sickness,
Thursday 07:31- 09:28h for sickness/losses, and Friday 03:00- 04:58h,
for hurt, confrontations. Since the Sun and Mars are also on Gandantha/GD
the week requires much cool plus more awareness when Moon passes
MB’s.
PISCES
The Sun strong on the 6th house gives much endurance and competitive
spirit. Jupiter/Mars raja yoga rolls until Tuesday sunrise, but
slows down due to GD zone of Mars See Aries. Mars then joins the
Sun and Mercury on the 6th house. Here too he suffers on GD until
Sunday 11:58 am and also because he is too close to the Sun. The
6th gives many short travels. Mercury goes to 7th house which is
nice for heart connections, public life and also long travel. With
Venus he can speed up marriages too. More planets see travel houses.
After Tuesday some long/overseas travel. Job related travel in the
2nd half of the week. The Moon begins the week gracefully on the
10th house. Tuesday morning Thursday evening she connects
with Jupiter and that is nice for $$$ and completing tasks well.
Even the Moon gets associated with journeys after Thursday afternoon
which could cause a hole in your wallet. Five planets see your Lagna.
Some of them can cause aggressive behaviour. Again with Jupiter’s
grace you get the strength to stay on course.
