Multiple threads on the same topic are actually fine, Top.

The reasoning for closing this thread is actually not a reason for closing a thread. Yes, ideally we'd like members to avoid posting threads on the same topic, we can't stop them. Supply and demand, y'know.

Since this guy was posting two threads with remarkably similar topics, yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with making this one poster confine his thoughts to one. But if poster X and poster Y want to talk about Romulans in Minefield or whatever, that's still kosher.

Just wanted to make sure we're on the same page. Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know, where'sSaavik?! Sorry about that. Newbie mod mistake--I'll be more careful next time. Did you want it opened again?

^ Naw, that's ok. It's not really a big deal.

When Bonnie and I started we were closing threads right and left before Christian put his foot down.

At least I'm in good company...

But I will be more careful from now on.

i tend to close duplicates since everything in my forum is advertisment anyways.

but if there are, say, multiple threads about the latest enterprise episode, they should stay open
