I wouldn't bother with the hack to stop posts in here form counting. For one, we don't post that much compared to other forums. And does post count really matter to anyone in here?

I can see the benefits of eliminating post counts in QSF and MA. It might reduce some of the whines we have been subjected to. However, since the hacks caused problems upgrading the board before, I would rather put up with post counts in those two forums. Seems the long-term benefits would be greater.

Well, I can't imagine that it would, Neroon. Everyone in here can post in whatever lounge they want...so postcount should be a non-issue.
If there is a possibility that too many hacks can mess up the BBS or leave it open to sabatoge, then I think I'd rather skip the hacking and just see all posts count.
A poster would have to be pretty stupid to spam MA or QSF, after all. Given that every mod here reads those forums daily.
