Down time for the Minbari mod
      #760302 - 2003/02/09 05:28 PM

Just to alert you to the fact I will be offline pretty much most of Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Friday the drama ministry, of which I am a co-director, is hosting a Valentine's Dinner at church. No, I am not performing. We do want people to enjoy themselves after all. Then over the weekend, our family is taking the opportunity of a long weekend to go to Mammoth Cave. The wife & I have been there, but the kids haven't, so it should be quite nice.

Life here at TrekBBS certianly hasn't been hellish lately, not by any stretch. But it will be nice to get away for awhile. WOuld a couple of you admin types please watch MA and SFF for awhile? I'd give you the keys to the Porsche, but I don't trust where's Saavik?. And please keep Top41 out of the liquor cabinet!

On a serious note, I truly appreciate all the help you've been giving in MA these past few weeks. It's been worse before, but it is nice to have you all responding quickly to complaints and the like. Makes the job easier to swallow.

Enjoy your downtime, my friend. You, of all people, deserve it. I wish I could take a vacation. Peace to you.

Does this mean I can hit the liquor cabinet?

Hey, Top, next time we get together, I'll bring you what I can pilfer from his stash...

Have a good time this weekend, Neroon! I can still get crack from JKTim, but I'll try not to turn MA into a circus for your return!

Bum. You know I'm broke! I want the free crack! Otherwise, I'll just have to turn to the booze, and we know how Neroon feels about that...

Well, you could pay my rent, my car payment, car insurance, and go to work for me...that's not all that much to ask, is it?

OK, OK. You can answer all my MA threads for me. How's that?

Actually if you throw in 24/7 worth of Buffy and Angel conversations... it would be worth it

We just got back a few minutes ago. Ice storm in northern Kentucky forced us to stay an extra night before sloshing our way home today. I will address MA in awhile.

It was a rather harrowing trip at times yesterday. The main reason we stopped when we did was because my wife was getting quite white-knuckled over the road conditions. We just did not realize how bad that ice storm had been up in Louisville. But it all worked out well. And we did get home in time to build a nice snow version of Helm's Deep.
