Then, the US people in charge made a 45 minute one, so it would fit more easily into rerun slots. They cut the scenes I mentioned. We got that one.

OMWF has 2 versions - the 45min one aired by some US TV stations, and aired by the UK's BBC and Sky, along with another version that has 8 more mins in it.
I'm hoping that the DVD will have cool subtitles, with a little bounching ball to help people sing karaoke along with the music.
Mind you, by the time the DVD actuially comes out, I will have memorised all the lines by then!
That "walk through the fire" song is sooooooo cool!
And why they didn't bring out a proper musical video with the Tara/Willow song is beyond me. That would have been a phenomanal sucsess.

The episode "Once More With Feeling" originally aired at an extended length that ran over the hour-long format (approx. 8 mins. over) and was edited down to fit an hour long timeslot for each re-airing. The footage cut included the title and overture, Buffy entering the Magic Box and some corresponding dialogue, part of the song "I've Got a Theory", the entire song "What Can't We Face," dialogue when Dawn enters the Magic Box, after the song "Under Your Spell," and before the song "I'll Never Tell," a verse of the song "Let Me Rest in Peace," some footage in Dawn's bedroom, Dawn's dance number with Sweet's minions, the end of the song "Why Don't We Dance Awhile," a verse of "Walk Through the Fire," dialogue when Buffy first encounters Sweet and after the song "Life's a Show," and the song "Where Do We Go From Here" is shorter along with followed dialogue between Spike and Buffy.
