My Heart Belongs to a Shih Tzu- her duster tail and beard, Bright expressive eyes- The Shih Tzu is devoted, Intelligent and wise. Loving and courageous, A friend that's always true- A dog that brightens each new day, And makes the dark skies blue. Bewhiskered face and trailing coat- The Shih Tzu stands apart. The title of this page is actually the original name of our quarterly hobby newsletter, that we founded in January, 1998. We use various color papers with black text- no gloss, and yes, black & white pictures of our Furbabies! The newsprint is a federal trademark and a registered COPYRIGHT. Effective January, 2000, it is now temporarily shelved, so that we could channel our energy over to this fun Site and provide more friendly interaction! Beau is AKC registered as "Taco Bello"--born in Glendale, Arizona on 9-1-92 (owner Karen was born 9/6!)--Shanghai Shih Tzu Kennel--liver/white--always in full coat--earned AKC/CGC(Canine Good Citizen) certificate at only 17 months old--beginner Agility--blue rosettes for 'best groomed'--Certificate of Recognition with Karen as a nominee for 'exemplary teamwork demonstrating the power of the animal/human bond' by Delta Society for Hearing Dog Awards--retired with Therapy Dogs International, Inc.(TDI)--rubbed elbows with several celebrities--well traveled--appeared in local TV show--publications as freelancer for Arizona Pet Guide Magazine, Who's Who of Animals book, Uncommon Cats book, Shih Tzu Nation book, Autograph Collector magazine, Spin magazine, Auction Bytes newsletter, Omaha Vaccine mail-order catalog. Snapshot appeared in Arizona Republic newspaper.
