Fantastic Four vol.1 #258

This supreme act came to mind while reading on the Doctor Doom Message board. Someone asked a question about Dr. Doom destroying a Doombot, and the Doomfans quickly answered. This supreme act started in Uncanny X-men 145. That issue began a storyline about Arcade turning Doom's old castle into "Murderworld." The story itself was not really that important, but while Doom was with Arcade, Arcade struck a match on his armor. Doom did nothing.

In Fantastic Four 258, Dr. Doom is looking over his Doombots and notices a scratch on one Doombot that is not designated for battle. He asks the Doombot what happened, and the Doombot tells him all about Arcade. Doom blows it up.

This part of the story is not the only reason I picked this issue. This issue is entirely made up of Doom. It is truly a masterpiece. You don't even notice that the Fantastic Four are not even in it, but do we care?
