Jesse: I just started like a few months ago and I have like 6 songs recorded and I'm planning on doing about 6 or 7 more and I hopefully want to have it done by end of summer early-fall and its going well its a good mix of songs its got some soulful stuff, some r&b, and a little pop rock.
Jesse: Actually I havent done any yet but hopefully these last couple songs will be some of my stuff and I hope to definitely get some of my own stuff in the album.
Jesse: Yeah definitely it's actually right now if you go to radiodisney.com or even to my website you can vote for it and if it gets enough votes its going to get played. "Beautiful Soul" is the name of the song. So if they play it then I'm just going to probably release it with in the next month or so.
Jesse: Its really cool actually cuz i've never really been on stage as a solo act with a band behind me its always been with the four other guys its really really cool the guys have all been playing their instruments for about 12-13 years since they were little and the dancers are really great the concert that I just did that was their own choreography but I definitely will be dancing to a few of the numbers and im hoping to choreograph some stuff um but its really cool having background dancers and singers and a live band ya know its like really cool.
Jesse: Best musical advice? hmm, thats a good question both of my parents have been behind me the whole way thats taught me a lot and just i guess learing from watching people who have been in action ya know like _____ {??} acting lessons from her, being on tour with her a lot as well as 'All my Children' just working with people, they teach you a lot.
Jesse: My favorite song on the radio is the new Daniel Bedingfield song i can't think of the name.. you know what one i'm talkin about? ::laughs::
Jesse: Actually its not "Immediate Family" anymore its changed to "Summerland" and its going really well i find out in a couple weeks whether or not they're gonna pick it up, if they pick it up i'll be flyin out to LA in August for a few months to shoot the season and i find out in a couple weeks and hopefully they're gonna pick it up it was a great crew, a great cast, and Lori Lauglin who played Rebecca on "Full House" is in it and it was really fun i went out there for 2 weeks and they taught me how to surf and i guess im a little surfer dude on the show so yeah.
Jesse: Definitely, my "All My Children" experience was... they helped me with my acting the actors on the show really are awesome and they taught me a lot and i did a scene with Micheal Knight,Tad my dad on the show, and it was a really heavy crying scene and he really ya know i think it depends on who your working with like its easier to do a scene when you got a really good actor next to you like Michael Knight and sometimes it can be weird depending on the situation thats why i like it, its like a challenge and i like really getting into the character whether it be a love scene with a girl or a crying scene where you have a mom and a dad breaking up .. i dunno
Jesse: Yesss Kate Hudson ::laughs:: i dunno shes really like funky like i really like how random she is its all her.. on screen you can tell its really her and uh i dunno i think she's a great actress and she's really cute and i like her a lot ::laughs::
Jesse:
My all time favorite childhood movie is "The Goonies" ::laughs:: so if i could recreate a movie i would definately be one of the kids in that movie.
Jesse: Some of my goals are to graduate and go to California and study somewhere in the entertainment biz whether it be film or writing and go to a university out in California and hopefully have some money saved up ::laughs:: for college and stuff the show or my album and just continue with this business, this is what i love, this is what i grew up in.
Jesse: Well now that baseball season has started I'm really REALLY excited about that, im playing on the junior varsity team so im excited about that and i was very excited when i got to perform in my concert about a month and a half ago out in Norwalk, my solo concert that was very exciting for me.
Jesse: ::laughs:: I have actually ive gone up on some of the pin ups, messageboards and i want to get an idea of what people are saying whether it be good or bad ya know what i mean just to see what they're talkin about.
Jesse: ::thinking:: Hmmm...Come back to me! i dunnooo ::laughs::
Jesse: I've run into some really cool people that ive kept in touch with ive ran into a lot of weird people ::laughs:: ive had a fan come up to the signing table one time and she gave all 5 of us like she was out there she was crazy this girl i dont know what she was on she was really funny she gave me this used anti acne pad and she rubbed her face with it ::laughs::
Jesse: My biggest obstacle so far is dealing with school and social life as well as my acting and singing career its a twisty bumpy road and ive managed somehow to uh ride the road smoothly wow i mean its been really hard but i think thats been one of the biggest obstacles is trying to maintain my social life as well as hold onto my career.
Jesse: Ya know it was very very very fun.. yeah i'd do it again. It was fun ya know it was something that a lot of people cant really say they've done before and just unlike any other thing...touring for 6,7 weeks at a time, and recording and going down every school night and rehearsing and working and working and working and its just like a routine thing it becomes part of your daily life i mean it becomes something thats natural to you and i just enjoyed it and ya know it was kind of a rough landing but i wouldnt...i dont have any regrets about anything that ever went down and i really think i'd do it again for sure ya know being on stage and in front of the fans and stuff its a complete and total rush.
Jesse: Oh yeah definately! i stay in contact with all of them, Matt just turned 18 a few days ago and we hung out we went out to dinner and stuff
Jesse: My message to readers is to just follow through with what you want to do and dont let anyone try to bring you down no matter who they be they can think they know, they dont know you know whats best for yourself i think and just stay true to yourself.
