The "Bible Code" is a way of looking for hidden prophecies and passages in the Bible, by using a software program to search for messages in the Old Testament Hebrew text. The spaces between words are eliminated, so that the Old Testament is a continuous block of Hebrew letters. Then, by skipping letters at a programmed interval, the program searches for words. There appear to be patterns to the passages where the words are found, and what words are clustered together.
And on this site I show that the Bible Code also works in English in the King James Bible. This page 1i on the King James Bible Code discusses research I did on an English Bible code in the King James version Bible (the Bible Code also works in English), on the Civil War in the U.S. in 1860 - 1865.

By using Bible code software I searched for some words in the King James New Testament and Old Testament (separately). I found that there is evidence of English Bible code patterns that the software found by skipping varying intervals, in the King James Old Testament or New Testament, made into a block of solid text. On this page I show matrices on:
Civil War in the United States in 1860 - 1865.
This matrix is Old Testament (Eccles. 5:8 to 9:4) on Pickett's Charge, an event during the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania that turned the tide for the North. Search words were: PICKETT, CHARGE, DEATH. Of 13000 men in this Confederate charge, they had about 8000 casualties - dead, wounded, captured. The charge's failure resulted in Confederate retreat to Virginia, and the Civil War continued 2 more years ending in 1865. Also in it: NORTH, DEATH, DEAD.
This next Old Testament matrix at Obadiah 1:4 to 1:10 contains search word CONFEDERACY, and THE EAGLE (for the United States).
These next two matrices used search words LINCOLN (President Lincoln), GRANT (Northern General U.S. Grant, commanding General for Lincoln). This matrix is New Testament at Matthew 13:13 to Acts 1:20. It includes "field of blood" in Acts 1:19 which would relate to the battlefields.
This next matrix is Old Testament at Joshua 16:8 to Judges 19:8. Also in it: "The King" (Lincoln), dead, "had fought", "South".
This matrix was Old Testament and used search words SHERMAN and GRANT for Northern Generals Sherman and Grant, the leading Union Generals in the last 2 years of the war who did bring Union victory in 1865. Grant battled Lee's Southern Army in Virginia, while Sherman's march through Georgia set much of Georgia on fire in a wide path of destruction including the burning of Atlanta. This matrix at Psalms 88:10 - 91:6 includes "thy wrath burn like fire" in Psalms 89:46 that would relate to the burning of Atlanta Georgia by General Sherman. Also in it: "destruction" , "South", and "the enemy".
This next matrix is New Testament at 2 Timothy 1:17 to 1 Peter 2:24 and used search word CIVILWAR and GRANT.
