PRAYER FOR WORLD YOUTH DAY 2002
God our Father,
Your Son Jesus calls us to be salt of the earth
and light for the world.
Let the light of your justice shine in our lives,
so that our words may season the world
with the flavor of the Gospel,
and our lives be shining examples
of Jesus who is the True Light.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God forever and ever.
Amen.
