Entry for April 10, 2002
The Osbournes

I have to say that I absolutely love the new 'The Osbournes' on MTV. I mean they are everything a family is and is not too. (If that is possible.) I have watched them from the very beginning because I have to admit that I am a fan. Not a complete, bow to Ozzy because he is the Prince of Darkness and of Music, fan. But I know lyrics of at least 5 of his songs and can recognize other tunes as being Ozzy or Black Sabbath. So when the show turned its entertaining head, I was hooked.

I was astoned to listen at how many times each Osbourne said the F word in only a 30 minute show. I was even more shocked to see the children cursing their parents in every breath of every sentence they uttered. Now if that had been me in my house growing up, I would be waking up from a coma...... right.... about .... now. There is no way my parents would have stood for that. Once Thorn could not stop saying the word 'suck' and my mom made him take a bit out of a bar of soap and eat it. Not swallow it, but actually chew it and then swallow. I felt sorry for him.

More inside.
