The Military Heritage Museum located in the entrance to the Nursing Home Care Unit at the Ioannis A. Lougaris VA Medical Center, 1000 Locust St, Reno, NV 89502. I am the curator of this museum. Open 7 days - 7 am to 8pm.
I have a log of all the Spanish-American War Veterans Buried in Nevada. I also have all of the documents (minutes etc) pertaining to the Spanish-American War Veterans of Nevada which became the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Nevada.
If you have any military memorbila you would like to contribute you can contact me at the Volunteer Services office at the Reno VA at 775-328-1491.
