I'm getting a little sick of writing about bands all the time, i wanna get back to doing columns and stuff, so i'll try get back into doing things on here, i promise. Oh oh oh, i got a distro... Yeah, you heard me, i'm starting up a CD/Zine distro here in middle of nowhere, turn left Kerry. Funnily enough, i just found out the good people at Leprock Records are just up the road, and they just put out the new GC5 CDEP called "Horseshoes and Hangrenades", and they swear it's dead good! Should be getting that for the distro. I'm gonna get a dot commie for it (cos i know the kids have crap memories) and that should be in operation hopefully by the end of the month. At the minute i have the new Jakes Wrath issue 5, and an album by NY hip hoppers Lexicon, entitled "It's The L". Coming across all Jurassic Five/De La Soul, Lexicon are most toptacular, and the new jakes wrath, all personal and hardcore and contraversial (just ask those at Culchikore ), is most top too, with interviews with Glynn from The Dagda and Tagdh from Circle again, plus loads of other goodness. Well, propagandhi rocked, and i got to interview them for work... which was nice... plus i got a few rolls of film from the font of the stage, so hopefully i'll get them developed and up here or on Ready Steady Jedi (gimmie a chance) when i can afford it, which i can't see being any time soon.... Ah, its all good...

This is the best news i've had in so damn long, the one band i've bben dying to see for years are coming to within a few hundred miles of me!! Yes yes yes!! I can't believe it!! This is soooo cool! I can't fucking wait to see them, its a dream come true! Sorry, i shouldn't keep going on like this but... JESUS, PROPAGANDHI LIVE!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

15/08/01 04:29 Hi There: Punkfest. Column. Punkfest. I was at a cool punkfest in Roscommon over the weekend. Loads of excellent bands, most notibly Sir Killalot on Friday, who played excellent versions of Minor Threat's In My Eyes and Black Flag's Rise Above. On Saturday, i was really looking forward to seeing The Steam Pig and Nerdlinger, but the drug squad raided the gig and, despite finding nothing, shut the gig down. It was relocated to another venue, but they chickened out, so we all ended up crashing in a castle. An excellent weekend was had by all, but this week sucks, cos i came home with some viral thing and a fever, and i'm pretty fucked, which means no Vandals for me this weekend.. Ah well, at least Leeds is next week..... Column. Getting back into the swing of things, an excellent column by Shindo is up concerning the assholes who post shit about bands for no good reason over at punknews.org.
