Hindi Cinema
Ok....here it is. Being a dedicated Bollywood fan,
of course I felt the need to include a bit of this
industry in my page. Yes I watch indian movies, and
yes I luv the stories, and NO they never seem to get
played out to me! :o) Well here i'll just put in some
pics of some of Bollywood's best actors/actresses as
well as links to some nice pages for those of u who

A well-awaited SRK and Rani Mukherjee starrer was released on June 13th at theatres nationwide. I have to say, I think the movie was worth the wait. Despite having a storyline somewhat similar to a recently released Saathiya, the story still managed to enthrall audiences. In the Bay Area, the shows sold out at Naz Cinema for a few nights in a row. Both Rani and SRK were brilliant in their acting though I have to admit, SRK tends to "overact" a bit at times and he needs to do something about that. Rani looked absolutely stunning and I think it's fortunate for us viewers that Aish was ousted from the movie and Rani was chosen as the replacement. I definitely believe the latter to be a more brilliant actress by all aspects. The storyline was realistic and one felt like they were almost a part of Raj and Priya's family. (By the way, does Bollywood lack names?? Is it just me or are Raj and Priya a bit over-used?) Anyways, overall, I would say the movie is definitely worth a look and the songs are a relief from the typical overseas shot songs. I especially enjoyed "dum dhoorak dhoorak num num num"! I would definitely recommend this movie and give it my 4 stars! :o) |
