The last pictures I had of Alexa and Houston were when they were first born. To say they've changed a little since those pictures is quite the understatement. How adorable are they? The word was that those who hung around for New Year's Day lunch at Panera Bread got to see both of the babies. Unfortunately, I was not there.
Sorry she is sideways. I have to figure out how to flip the picture. In the meantime, just tilt your head to get the best view. :)

Oh, and I almost forgot the cutest of the babies. . . Gipper. A face only Kelly Kraemer can love. Isn't she adorable?

New Years 2003-2004
If you weren't at the Smith's this New Year's Eve, then you just simply missed out. Another great party was held, complete with us all getting plastered and all. (Well, maybe not, but it was a blast!) Here's a rundown of some highlights of the night:

Sweet Wesley came home!!
That's right! Mr. New came home to Indiana in early January. Unfortunately, it was due to some sad events, but we were glad to be able to see him anyway. He's looking good - as sexy as ever (which you know isn't saying much just kidding, sweet wesley) Cali sounds fun, although we all know it's not quite as cool as the midwest.
Mackenzie's Married
!!
The day after the New Years festivities, a few of us headed on over to Illinois to go to Mackenzie and Babacar's wedding. It was great, and we even got a chance to shake our booties at the reception (the boys especially loved that). After the wedding, some of us stayed overnight there in Bolingbrook. Lyndsi, Brent, and I all slept together in the pull-out couch while Bullard, Lee, and Bridget all slept in the bedroom. (and we keep telling people those rumours about our "group" weren't true)
On our way home, Brent insisted that he, Lyndsi, and I stop at Michigan City for a few hours. We tried to talk him out of it, but he insisted, so we all shopped for the day. It was our first ever trip there, and it's awesome!! Definitely a place to visit again.

So, let's see . . .
As I mentioned above, Wes is in California, bringing youth to Christ (and making movies).
Dave has been back from Iraq for awhile now, and is looking to the future and what is next for him. All of his options sound pretty cool. He's in the midst of interviewing with three different companies, and then he'll see what will happen from there.
Believe it or not, there will be yet another Yowell baby coming this May. At this rate, the rest of us will never catch up with these two. More potent than birth control can ward off - amazing!! Lee is still having fun being an RD at Mt. Vernon. Bridget is subbing while she continues to look for a full-time teaching position.
The Gonzolazes are still living in Michigan and enjoying the church that Chris is the music minister at.
They continue to still live in Indianapolis, and have been living in their new home for several months. It's great! Kelly's still keeping FedEx secure, and Krista recently switched jobs. She is now working as a consultant to agencies around the state in ensuring that they do the necessary things for Medicaid billing. Their baby, Gipper, is their pride and joy (well, maybe just Kelly's). She's quite the fun dog.
In spite of continuing to suffer from the effects of the Kokomo hum, the Smiths are doing well. Brent is educating the world about vacuums and sewing machines while Lyndsi educates children about everything else.
Gerbsch is almost done with grad school! It doesn't feel like that much time has already passed. Right now Brad is trying to figure out where he will be going to grad school, which somewhat also depends on whether Gerbsch can get a ministerial job in the same area.
Our Canadian friends have just moved into this amazing newly-remodeled farmhouse on the campground. I have yet to see it in person, but the pictures look awesome! The Fosters will be touring around recruiting summer staff this winter/spring, so we'll get to see them again soon!
Although they are both doing well now, they have had quite a lot happen the past couple weeks. Please continue to keep Ben and Brooke in your prayers as Ben continues to recover and as they both continue to deal with the shock of everything that happened.
Our other Canadian friends continue to live in Jackson, MI, and Erik is still the GenX pastor there. I understand that they are in the midst of building a house, much of which Erik is doing on his own (quite amazing). I believe they are doing well.
Ms. Lloyd continues to live in DC, and is enjoying it. I think the most enjoyable part is learning Arabic (yeah, right). It was great to see her at New Years.
Bullard is continuing her education in Kansas City at NTS. It was good to see her too at New Years.
Stipp's getting married!! It's true, and it's happening this summer. Until then, she continues to live in Papua New Guinea, and seems to be having a marvelous time - being right in the middle of God's will and all.
