Gun Debate, cont'd.
well, lets get this going right. first off, erin makes
some decent points, however, she is wrong about a few facts. the legality
of hunting with a crossbow varies from state to state, but in maryland anyone
can hunt with a bow, doctors note or not. so, with that out of the way...
this whole gun thing has been raging on for years, and will continue to do
so. i have no problems with background checks and waiting lists and
tougher penalties for people who possess guns illegally and all that, but let's
be real... are laws gonna stop any criminals??? do tougher laws stop drug
users??? nope, sorry, but laws don't mean dick to people. basically,
what i'm saying is, at risk of sounding like the nra, "if we make it illegal to
have guns, then only the criminals will have them."
