1. Please tell the readers about the band. When it was formed, the line-up, releases and stuff like that.
Mighty hails, Nocturnaz... Well first, what you call a band is not really one, its a one man band project. I started it in early 1999 under the order of the infamous terrorist MkM from SpikeKult Records. My goal, first, was to explore my skills in that domain because even if I used to play guitar since 8-9 years I was far from being able to create an entire song with the whole instruments. Anyway, my songs evolved quite fast, and then I realized that I had a real potential.
The First demo 'Postmortem Rituals' was finished in August 99 and out in september 99, a split tape with another french band Centurion Centauri playing some awfully raw black metal. I've been quite surprised to learn from MkM's mouth that the demo was sold out just a couple of months after. I started the rekording of my second demo 'The Earth Last Breath' at the beginning of this shitfilled year 00 in total hatred and reject of the current trends, which destroy and discredit the scene.
2. How would you describe your music? What are your musical influences?
The music I play is a vile and cold monument of hate and disgust against humans disgrace. A tactical murderous attack without any mercy for the weak and for the ones who would dare to stand across my path. My musical influences are numerous but I will just mention the most important such as (Old) Burzum, Blut Aus Nord, Les Légions Noires, Judas Iscariot, Grand Belial Key...
3. What inspires you lyrically? What topics do the lyrics deal with?
My main inspirations are related with Sadism, Murders, Insanity, collective suicides. The perspectives of humans torture, humiliation or armed corpse molestations are countless... My lyrics are the battleground of my darkest and disturbing fantasy, a desolated land where I vomit my endless hate upon this ocean of insects and subhumans vermins who leads themselves to their own destruction.
4. What is the main purpose of your music? Any political/religious message?
The main purpose I try to develop is a concept of total negativity... Something in my sound that will push the listener to take a razorblade and to make love with it, something that would unleash the worst lust and depraved acts a man could realize. Politic is shit for me, just a social way to control peoples, I don't even speak of religions, but both are for weak people however ..
5. What about live shows? Have you played any gigs lately? How often do you play live?
I never played live and I will never do that. Perhaps you don't have the same problem as us, in France, but most of the people who come to the concerts are pathetic. A lot of these 'black metal fans' used to wear their 'black metal panoply' inside a car, just before entering the concerts place and take it off quickly once the concert is finished. Perhaps they are just attentive to don't affraid their parents...
Why should I be supposed to play in front of such wasted peoples ? No, my music must be played in solitude, just like a face to face between you and me. The strong people will be able to face it and maybe to appreciate it, but the feeble will perish or just leave it without understand anything.
6. How is the metal scene in your area? Are you in contact with other bands?
In my area ? well , I live in the south of France and I must say, the scene suck here. Except two bands I really respect : HawkMoon and Malicious Secrets, the rest are just posers or teens gothic fags and I spit at their face. But on the other hand, the situation in the rest of France is a bit less depressive. There are some really good and important bands like Antaeus, Celestia, Mutiilation and a glorious dark past that the true followers will never forget.
7. Is anybody in your band involved in other projects? If yes, who and which?
Myself is not involted in any other projects, I focalize my whole hatred and energy inside ThyLord. Its already enough work for one person.
8. What is the best cd / demo you have heard in the last month?
Without hesitation, I should say Antaeus last (and first) album CYFAWS, which is, I think, the best release of the band even if some things they have a too much polished noise now, I have to disagree, its a pure concentration of violence and aggression. For the best demo I've heard recently, it goes to Malicious Secret , released by SpikeKult Rec. This demo is the perfect soundtrack for the Year 00 human holocaust !
9. What was the last concert you went to? What was the best concert you have been at?
Last concert I went to ? Well it was in May of this year at the Drakkar Hellfest, and hehe well it was one of my best concerts. Really few stupids guys, Excellents bands (Decayed, Impiety, Antaeus, Celestia...), some violence outside, a lot of beers ... Fuck, it was a total destruction... I think the guys who rented the place have regretted a lot after...Anyway it was a sort of true gathering of extreme individuals and bands without any traitor, teens or poser... How enjoyable ??
10. What kind of beverage is your favourite? Any special brands? Do you do any drugs?
Well I usualy drink a lot of beers, whiskey, beer and whiskey mixed whatever the brand... For the other kind of drugs, I should think about using LSD if I want to kill myself and for the rest I recommend to everybody to get addicted on hard drugs to free the world of their life, I totaly support the use of Kocaine, Heroin, Crack, Morphin as a way to terminate some more life...
11. What can really piss you off?
Commercial whores, humanists (to the oven !), NSBM Cunts, bands who play intentionally false black metal, SataniK Sluts, the pretentious faggots from Ad infernalis (ex de profundis) and probably most of you who will read those words, I wish you the worst diseases and uncurable illness.
12. What are you plans for the future? Gigs, releases and so on.
My future attacks are planned , yes. First my 2nd demo is not yet released on Drakkar Prod, but its near to be. After that, I will bring my contribution on a compilation named ''Desekration of the Human Race'', produced by BlackVault Rek. My name was also added in the tracklist of a very important tribute for a Kult Dead band. And perhaps also a special cdr with my 2 demos + some unreleased track should appears on Profane Elite Productions.
