1. Please tell the readers about the band. When it was formed, the line-up, releases and stuff like that.

Hi, the band was founded on august 1994 in Rome by Francesco Cremisini (guitar and vocal) and there were always a lot of musicians inside it like the drummers Pietro Sinatra, Adriano Luzzi (Defunctis), Andrea Galič, Pablo Tejedor, Luca Iovieno (River Of Change) and Roberto Pirami (Hydra), Luca Giovagnoli at the bass, Giuliano Casamatta at the guitar.
At the moment the line-up is composed by the above-mentioned Francesco (the only member of the original line-up), Matteo Bellezza at the guitar (in the band from july '97), Alberto Sempreboni at the bass in the band from july 2000 and coming from the Heavy Metal band Savers and Luca Marini at drums from november 2000 and coming from the brutal death metal band Chthonian Nemeton. We have released several demos, "Home-made" ('95), "Home-made"('96),"We Roam"('98),"Scars"('98), "From The Cradle To The Way"('00) and we are going to record a new promo on february 2001 titled "Violent Beats". It will be only for press and labels.

2. How would you describe your music? What are your musical influences?

It's hard to answer to this question, I think that If you like intense, powerful and fast metal I think you must listen to our "From The Cradle To The Way". This is the only way to describe our music! Intense/fast/melodic/dynamic/groovy thrash metal. FRANCESCO: " I BECAME INVOLVED IN METAL AS A FAN ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO HEARING SOME ALBUMS WITH FRIENDS, BANDS LIKE IRON MAIDEN, HELLOWEEN, OZZY, ETC. SOME YEARS LATER MY FATHER GAVE ME A GUITAR AND AFTER ONE YEAR I FOUNDED MY FIRST BAND INFLUENCED BY BANDS LIKE OLD METALLICA, NIRVANA, EXPLOITED, MISFITS, ETC..."
MATTEO:"THE BEGINNING OF MY METAL STORY HAS BEEN ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO. THE FIRST LP OF HEAVY METAL THAT I GOT WAS "NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING" BY IRON MAIDEN. I DECIDED TO LISTEN TO THAT BAND BECAUSE I LIKED ALL THE FRONT COVERS OF THEIR ALBUMS! SO I THOUGHT:"WHY DON'T TRY, IF I DON'T LIKE THEIR MUSIC, I CAN PUT THE ALBUM IN THE TRASH!!!"....OH, I LOVED IT! THEN I STARTED TO PLAY GUITAR INFLUENCED BY OLD METALLICA AND SLAYER. MY FIRST BAND, CALLED "OVERMASTER" , WAS TOTALLY INTO FAST THRASH METAL, I HAVE FOUNDED IT WHEN THIS KIND OF METAL WAS DEAD AND BURIED! IN THESE YEARS ('94/'95) THE SCENE WAS FULL OF DEATH/BLACK METAL BANDS....I AM A DIE-HARD THRASHER!!!!!!"
THE BANDS THAT GAVE US INSPIRATION FIRST OF ALL ARE THE IRON MAIDEN, THE BAY AREA SCENE AND ALL THE THRASH METAL OF THE EIGHTIES + SEVERAL NEW SWEDISH THRASH METAL BANDS LIKE "THE HAUNTED" AND "SOILWORK".

3. What inspires you lyrically? What topics do the lyrics deal with?

FRANCESCO: Usually i don't like to talk about the lyrics because i don't want to influence the reader. Anyway, my lyrics are about personal experiences, not religious or politics stuff.

4. What is the main purpose of your music? Any political/religious message?

Nothing of that, we would like to play as much as possible and we would like to record our first full lenght album to start our career officially! We are on the scenes from 1994 and I think now is time to do the things seriously!

5. What about live shows? Have you played any gigs lately? How often do you play live?

We love to play live! We have a very good live activity because we try to play here in Rome and in the rest of our country. There aren't much metal pubs here in Italy but we try to play as much possible in those few pubs that make this kind of live music . Lately in november and december we have played live here in our city to try the new line up and from the first days of february 2001 (after the recording of the new "Violent Beats"), we'll start to play all over our country!

6. How is the metal scene in your area? Are you in contact with other bands?

FROCESCO: I THINK THE SCENE OF OUR COUNTRY IS FULL OF GOOD MUSICIANS, BANDS LIKE "NOVEMBRE", "RHAPSODY" OR "EXTREMA" WE THINK WILL DO GREAT THINGS. IN ITALY WE ARE IN CONTACT WITH SOME METAL BANDS THAT WE LIKE AND ESTEEM, BANDS LIKE "UNDERTAKERS" , "CADABRA" , "HOMICIDE HAGRIDDEN", "DIASTASIA", "TRAUMA", "ARCADIA", "MORBUS", "HATEWORK" , ETC...ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE UNDERGROUND ITALIAN THRASH METAL BAND IS "KISS OF DEATH", WATCH OUT! THEY KICK ASS!!!"

7. Is anybody in your band involved in other projects? If yes, who and which?

Yes, I'm (Matteo) helping a new roman thrash metal bands formed some years ago by a friend of mine. They play a kind of fast thrash metal influenced by Slayer and first Sepultura. Good songs, really aggressive and fast, the same stuff that I have listen to for many years!
Alberto plays bass in a metal band formed by the boyfriend of his sister and Luca, our new drummer, has several projects: a Satriani cover band, a Dream Theatre cover band and many others collaborations, too much to be mentioned!

8. What is the best cd / demo you have heard in the last month?

In the last month I've bought the new The Haunted album, it sounds good but I prefer the first self-titled cd of the band. I think the new singer, Marco Aro, is not too personal like the first Peter Dolving, I loved his hardcore style! About the demo, I have the new demo of "Hatework" an italian thrash metal trio that sounds like Sodom/Kreator/Coroner.

9. What was the last concert you went to? What was the best concert you have been at?

The last concert that I went to was the show of Guano Apes here in Rome last november 2000. I like their music and I think the singer has a great voice! She can sing melodic and aggressive with a good personality and their songs are simply and have a good impact.
The best concert I have been was Slayer here in Rome during summer 1996. Slayer is my favourite band and I've seen them live three times, the first in Rome, another one with Sepultura in Milano '98 and the last time at Gods Of Metal with mighty Testament (great performance). Another one of the best concert that I've been to was Overkill+Annihilator in Florence last february 2000. I love Annihilator and I've had the chance to talk with Mr. Jeff Waters before the show! Great Annihilator, great Overkill, thrash rulez!

10. What kind of beverage is your favourite? Any special brands? Do you do any drugs?

My favourite beverage is iced tea and also I love milk with chocolate! About alcool I usually drink beer or wine. We use any drugs.

11. What can really piss you off?

I don't know....sometimes I hate everything and sometimes too!

12. What are your plans for the future? Gigs, releases and so on.

During the first week of february 2001 we'll record the new promo and after it we'll start to play live as much as possible!
