I had some Direct Debits setup on my account and would never have noticed how terrible
my Bank is until last month when one bounced because I did not have sufficient funds
in my account. Well guess what, the Bank charged me £ 27.50 for having no funds (expected)
and their administration costs, sent me the letter to inform me. Then charged me again the same amount for the same
bounced Direct Debit and had the audacity to send me a letter dated the next day! I called up thinking this must be some mistake
but was told this was because the company I had the DD set up for had tried to remove the funds twice on the same day
and therefore I had to be charged twice! and there was nothing they could do about it.
