Summary: I think the title sums it up pretty well. It takes place after DoD but before TC No Tiggies were harmed in the writing of this fic.

"Jade…put Tiggy down." Rowan watched her sister twirling the cat round by it's tail, Tiggy with its claws flailing wildly, trying to anchor itself. She prayed the poor cat landed safely.
"Tiggy like being spun." Jade spun harder then hugged Tiggy hard, the tiny pussies eyes bulging in their sockets. It let out a small yelp.
"For Gods sake, kill it and be done with it. End its suffering." Kestrel snapped. Rowan knew she felt sorry for the cat. Rowan had stopped her going to the RSPCA. They just couldn't turn in their sister. Jade pouted stubbornly.
"Well Kessie, I guess you just don't understand the bond me and Tiggy have. Mark agrees with me, right honey." Mark was staring at Jade, jaw to the floor, drooling. Jade took that as a yes and grinned smugly. "See?"
"Jadey, Mark is not your soulmate! He just sits there and drools at you. He is a sick, perverted individual. He isn't even listening to you!" Jade ignored Kestrel. Rowan just sighed, exasperated.
"Jade, Kestrel…let's not fight! I think…" Kestrel butted in and addressed Jade.
"If Tiggy and you have such a bond…then how come he's heading out the back door right this
minute?" Jade squealed and started to chase Tiggy out the door. Kestrel grinned barbarically.
"God…lets hope that moggy can run faster than she can." Mark sat and suddenly came out of his trance.
"Where's Jade going?" He looked confused. Kestrel rolled her eyes and pointed out the door. Mark followed Kestrels finger murmuring thanks as he left.

Jade couldn't keep up with Tiggy, even with her supernatural strength. She called out to it.
"Tiggy, where are you, you silly pussy." Frowning Jade searched around. She saw a dark shadow, with gleaming golden eyes. Tiggy, she thought gleefully, and continued her pursuit.
***
That’s it…come closer. No…closer still. You think you're the hunter. You're wrong. You killed my family. You will pay greatly.
***
Mark could see Jade running. He watched, trying to keep up, but failing. He kept on trekking though. He'd catch up with her eventually.
***
Jade finally caught up with Tiggy as a fence slowed him down. He sat just the other side…looking at her. It was unnerving. Jade shook her head…what was wrong with her??? She'd told Kestrel herself. Tiggy and her had a bond…just like her and Mark. Tiggy loved her. She reached out for the fence and it gave her a tiny electric shock. Damn electric fence! She tried to coax Tiggy from the other side but soon realised the cat was intent on staying put.
While the tiny sensible part of Jade was telling her to turn back and run, the much larger other half told her to try to get to the other side. A minute later Jade was busy weaving her vampire body in and out of the fence…avoiding the electric wires. Tiggy slowly rose, and threw itself towards her, clawing at her face simultaneously. The messy result was a bleeding, swearing Jade, entangled in the fence, the tiny electric pulses slowly weakening her.
"Owww…Tiggy, go for help, hurry." Jade was relieved as Tiggy turned and trotted away. It took a minute or two to register it had gone in the wrong direction - away from the farmhouse. Jade screamed.
***
Mark had given up the hunt. Jade was probably back at the house by now, warm and alone. He started to walk towards farm.
***
Rowan frowned. "Kestrel….they've been gone a while. Aren't you worried?" Kestrel looked up from the TV set.
"Nah…they can handle it. They're together, right?" She continued to watch Buffy…Kestrel had a MASSIVE crush on Angel. Rowan stopped worrying.
***
The ninja stopped the hunt when a little kitty walked out in front of her. She frowned.
"Get lost kitty." The cat hissed violently and grabbed the ninja's knife in his mouth. The ninja ran after the cat.
***
Jade sat, still tangled in the fence, a shocking predicament. Nothing to worry about. They'd miss her soon enough and come to look for her. She just had to wait a while. They'd save her soon. The last words Jade ever heard were…
"This kitten has claws." As a black ninja staked her.
***
"Who's a smart kitty then." The girl in black coaxed. Tiggy had returned the knife shortly after Jades untimely death. Tiggy purred before running to god knows where.
***
Tiggy was satisfied. He had vengeance for his sisters who the vampire had killed. Their muffled squeals from the suitcase still haunted him. She had tortured him for months…but now he was even…almost. One day he would return for her sisters, his revenge would then be complete. He turned from the vampire hunter and ran into the night, his black fur camouflaged by the darkness.
The End.
