FEPHANIE REMEMBERS...

"Zinni and I would spend hours on the phone with one another; talking and laughing, and me occasionally singing...blah blah blah and so on. We'd talk about everything-school, people, just random stuff, yea. It was just fun. Sometimes, depending on who was over at my house or whose house I was at, he'd talk to my skating friends or Fllie..."

"One time in gym, Fisten Feecs came up to me and was like, 'Feph, I know a guy who really likes you and I think you should give him a chance cos he's a really great guy....blah blah blah...' and like that. So I stopped her and was all, 'If you're talking about Zinni, save it, I don't wanna hear it!' And she said, 'Uh! How'd you know?' And I looked past her to Zinni and he gave me a weird smile and a wave...OMG...I couldn't believe him..."

"Another time in gym class, we were in the middle of the swing-dancing thing and Zinni was my partner-of-the-moment. We were doing this 'slide-under-the-guy's-legs' thing, and I was like, 'Nathan, there is no way in hell I'm gonna make it through your legs' and he was like, 'Too bad, we're gonna try'. And I was like, 'No we aren't because I'm not gonna make it!' and he was all 'WE'RE TRYING!'!! So I was like, 'OK, but if my head rams into your butt, you're paying for my trauma therapy!'. So, we did all the stuff and he tried to pull me through and, exactly like I predicted, I didn't make it and and my head rammed into his butt. I screamed and pushed him forward and he fell on his knees laughing, and we just sat there in hysterics for like 8 minutes. It was great..."

"The first out of many times he asked me out, I was spending the night at Fllie's house after History Day. He and Fathy had recently broken up, remember. Anyway, Fllie and I kept calling and talking to him, and then he was all, 'Feph, will you go out with me?' I was shocked. And he asked me about 4 times that one night and I kept saying no because I knew he was moving to Italy that summer and didn't want to get anything started. If I'd only known what I'd be going through now!..."

"One time, my mom said I could go see a movie with him at Tinseltown-JOY! I was all ready to go-but she said I couldn't go after all at the last minute! Then Nathan called me and was all, 'OK...I've got two tickets for Titanic@some random time' and I had to say 'Nathan, my mom is making me cancel for reasons X-Y-Z, I'm soo sorry!' And then by his reply I could just tell he was really sad. I felt horrible..."

"Well, there was that time he took the stapler in art class and put like 90 staples in the cover of my yearbook. I don't remember much about it. I just remember that we were watching Air Bud for like the 90th time in there and I kept hitting him on the head with it and he took it and put staples in it..."

"In Spanish, he'd always sit in his chair with his legs curled up under him all weird, and like, yeah, but anyway. I remember one time he was sitting next to Felby (Grrrrrrrrrrrr...) and he said something really dumb to Mrs. Farson, and Felby pushed him really really hard. His entire desk fell over. It was really funny...we probably laughed a majority of the period about it..."

"We had an 'out of school early due to snow' day, remember that? It was in the middle of April and like there was snow everywhere. My dad finally came to get me and Fessica, so walked to my locker to get my stuff. Nathan was there--his locker being conviniently placed next to mine and all--and so I was all, 'You excited that we're being let out of school early?' and he was all 'Yea. So, what are you gonna do the rest of the afternoon?' and I was all, 'I dunno. But I'll call you when I get home.' and he was all, 'OK...I'll look forward to it.' and he gave me a hug bye-bye! Awwwww..."

"Other times when we were in art together, I would sit with Fasim and Fances and we'd just randomly talk to him from across the classroom. Our favorite questions to ask him were 'Hey Barbie, where's Ken?' or 'Aww, did Barbie lose her purse?". He threw clay at me about 7 times for that crack..."

"DATE LINE: Coffee Klatch-near the end of the '97-98 school year. Everyone was there! We had so much food, and Fackie got sick from a caffeine overload! I had Fances' tape player, and I went around recording everything (I had taken my happy happy joy joy pills! PILL PILL PILL!!!). I went over to Zinni who was major mad at me for some reason and he told me to get away from him..."

"The last time I saw Zinni in person was at Barnes and Noble. He was in his Soccer (?) jersey and was hanging out with one of his friends (also in a jersey) looking at some magazines. I wanted to go up to him and say hi and talk to him and stuff, but I didn't because his friend was there. So I didn't get to see him..."

FACKIE REMEMBERS...

"We never liked one another. I never hung out with him unless some random person (Fephanie! Fllie!) dragged me into it, but unfortunately we had a lot of mutual friends, so it seemed like I was around him a lot-but I tried not to be!..."

"More often then not, we'd be fighting. About two weeks into the school year, I got especially pissed off at him for some reason and we started fighting on the floor of Mr. Foss's English class! I'm pretty sure he bit me. We were both given lunch DT..."

"As I look back on my year with Zinni, I make icky faces. All my memories of him are bad ones! In fact, I haven't the slightest idea why I'm running this site for Fephanie. Still, it will be interesting to see if anything comes of it, I suppose..."
