In Bayonne there is a building, whether it is apartments or a place of business I am not totally sure, that time has seemed to have forgotten. 
On the top of the building in the brick work is what appears to be a swastika. No one is sure why the swatika has not been sanded off, but no one really seems to be too bothered by it, either. This is not the only swastika in Bayonne, there are at least 2 other buildings with them, but this one is the best known.
The strange part about this swastika and the fact that it has not been ordered to be sanded away is that the building is located only a few blocks away from Bayonne's Jewish Community Center. I am sure something has been said, but why nothing has been done is beyond me.
