Sea

The rvier eventually ends in the ocean you discover as you follow it. The large leafy trees that have been lining the water's end slowly change into the small bushes and shrubs that are better accustomed to living by salty water. The salt and sand replace the scent of flowers and musk and the difference is refreshingly brisk.

Ghine You don't have to walk far before you spot Jae and a small creature playing in the mixing fresh and salt water. The animal, which remeind you of an Earth Seahorse runs -er, swims- and hides while Jaejoria covers her eyes and counts to ten. Then she wades about in the water in an attempt to find it. Simple game, but it looks entertaining.

From your place on the shore you have a perfect view of the water and the world hiding under the surface. You spot the brightly colored animal easily in the dark swaying seaweed and Jae looks tempted to open her wings and use height to her advenatge too, but instead she just bends over, her shorts hitched up high to reveal dragon-scaled legs, and wades back and forth, calling "Ghine!" which you assume to be the creatures name.

You watch for a bit, smiling when the gryph loses her balance and tips into the water with a very undignified spash, before taking off again.
