Revelation 8 & Revelation 9 The Trumpets and the First Woe
The Trumpets are not in a sequence following the Seal Judgments. The First Trumpet follows the First Seal, the Second Trumpet follows the Second Seal, in a pattern of worsening woes. When you reach the 6th Seal, you are at the Wrath of God; when you reach the 7th Trumpet, you are at the Wrath of God, and so on. Shed the western mind and open to the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the poetry and parable of Revelation and most of the Bible to you. Understand that the Old Testament is not simply a history book about people long dead, it is a living document filled with the prophetic words which are still waiting to become history. Yeshua was repeating for the Christians what had been promised to Israel for Millennia.
