Revelation 6 begins the unfolding of the horrors of the final days of this Age. We've all heard of them, the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, and they bring images of fear and death to mind. "But the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." [2 Tim 1:7] It is not for us to fear, but to wonder and pray for the Lord to reveal to us the blessing He has promised us for studying this book of His holy Word. Revelation 7 provides a short interlude between the judgments, and gives us a view of the Lord with His firstborn of Israel.
The Lord took us first to His Throne Room, so that we would know the end of the story before we even begin it. Let's continue to walk with John, ever leaning on the Spirit, as we follow where our Teacher wanted John to take us . . . .
