"I've been Waiting For a woman to change my life"

Iman sure changed his life. He is the man he is today because of Iman, if he hadn't found her as his wife he would have been a very different person now. At a certain point in his life he really needed someone,..someone like her.

There came a point where he couldn't be happy anymore with the his kind of life. Now he is a happy husband and father. COMPLETELY different but that is what he needed. If he wouldn't have his family he might have turned out miserable! Emotionaly. Of course I don't know what influence it would have had on his artistic side, but it sure would have been a HUGE difference.

He's said in an interview that his family is the most important thing in his life, the only important thing in his life.

He added 'I'm sure my work UNDERPINS my life in way'

very true.

DB could not have been happy without his fame and fans. So in a way it's his family that underpins his work.. But since to every normal human beeing family turns out to be the most important thing.... it is indeed his work that underpins his life.

I watched David on a video , when he is telling his audience about when he was 14 years old and liked reading The Kid, 'as for bedtime reading'.(he is just so cute as telling this)

He saw an image on a paper bag with the Kid on it 'standing quite sexily by a tree'.It was called Thursdays Child. 'That image stayed with me from when I was 14, I don't know why (*laughs*)'.

It came to him when I wrote Thursdays Child.'The song is not actually ABOUT The Kid!!'(*laughs (QUITE SEXILY!)*)

I found this tiny image, and I think it may be the image that David was talking about, that has been in his mind for all these years and 'inspired' him to the song Thursdays Child.

Backstage Passes

This is a tiny part out of the book 'Angie backstage' that I tried to translate in english. It gives you the slightest idea of what the book is like.

If you like to know details about bowies private live you should read it, you get a bit of an idea of the world bowie lived in.

"When I met him, David had been enjoying sex with both male and females for years and with succes. On Brombley Tech he , as he said so himself and according to his classmates, got to chat up both boys and girls incessantly and the girls were generally older, more beautiful and more exciting than the ones boys from his own age group could only even hope to seduce. What happened to my good friend Dana Gillespie is a nice example for the way he acted. While, one day , she was standing in front of a mirror, in the London Club, doing her hair, David suddenly showed up behind her, took carefully the brush out of her hand and started brushing her shiny, long hair. She was in all likelihood the best victim/prey of that evening: fourteen years old, breathtaking beautiful, physically fully developped and on mental respect far ahead of her time. And into the bargain she was a real Austrian baron too! She was fond of David right away too , she had a look at the beautiful boy, with his long, bleached, blonde hair upon his waist, the deep gaze in his odd, different coloured eyes and that decadent, finely chiselled trap and knew what she wanted. she took him home right away that evening and took him to bed after sneeking by the room in which her parents were sleeping."
