These are some of the (to me most convincing) pictures of David Brighton, David Bowies' most remarkable impersonator.

On most pictures you can definatly see that it is not him. One of this sites' visitors who has known David Brighton for many years told me that Brighton didn't get any plastic surgery after all! When you check out the videoclips on David brightons' tribute to David bowie See Them Life

you can see he is a very convincing impersonator. His figure, the shape of his face, the way he moves, the voice.

Of course you can still tell the difference but it ís good.

So have a look at the pics , on these pictures you could certainly believe it is him.

Performing as the Thin White Duke. The left and right one are great.

the face is very nice.

very good from the back :)

Looks a lot like him, the body the mouth_____

This is an unclear one, that is why it is so good! It must be bowie himself! But who is that man next to him?? Well except for the face the man does indeed look like Ronson :)

That mouth!

About Mr. Brighton by one of his friends.

A close friend of David, Blue Jean, wrote me about this remarkable bowie impersonator. It says a lot about Mr. Brighton personally! After reading this I'm even more curious to see him life!
Blue Jean allowed me to share this with you.

"To answer your questions:

Yes, I did know David before he started the Bowie act. I got to know him back when he used to portray George Harrison with the Beatles tribute act called the Fab Four (I'm a big Beatles fan in addition to being a huge Bowie fan). He and I found that we had the same sense of humor and became really close friends. David was so nice and genuinely interested in all of the people who came to the shows. He would always make sure to come out after performances to say hello to people he knew and thank them for coming which struck me as incredibly rare for a performer.
Yes, it's weird to see him on stage as Bowie... especially since the first couple of years that I knew him, I'd never seen him act anything like Bowie.

It's very much a transformation. When he's not performing, even though his features look a lot like Bowie's - he doesn't wear his hair like Bowie, or dress like Bowie, or talk like Bowie or carry himself like Bowie. He's a very normal, somewhat soft-spoken person... he's also very much a gentleman. Not the wild extrovert you see on stage. Then when he's in the makeup, the crazy costumes and wild colored hair, he sort of automatically goes into character. He walks differently, he moves differently, looks at people differently. It's very weird. People who know him can't believe how he shifts into being a completely different person. To me, it shows how good of an actor he is... because it is an act.
Some impersonators are a bit deluded and think they are the people they are pretending to be, but David is very down-to-Earth and does the act for fun and because he loves the music (in other words, he's not some freak).
