EveryBody Loves Sunshine

This is the first film I saw staring bowie. I went to the video(rental) store and asked wether they had a movie with david bowie in it hèhè. (finally I was going to see him move ;p ).
It's a gangstermovie and quite depressing for as far as I can remember, but of course that doesn't make it a bad one. Bowie plays a gay part, wearing big black glasses(can it be any more obvious?).
He is really good in this movie, funny and really nothing like himself!
Zoolander

David hasn't really got a part in this movie , it's more like he is making an appearance(as himself). The movie is really unbelievably stupid. I hated it. hèhè. You should see it!
Merry Christmass Mr. Lawrence

A very impressing movie. There are certain parts that I absolutely love.
The Man Who Fell To Earth
One of my favourite movies. I love the whole atmosphere Nicolas Roeg created in this film. Bowies' looks are perfect for his part. You definatly have to see this one!
Labyrinth

First saw this movie when I was a little child (it was released in my birthyear; '85),but I didn't realise Jareth(bowies' character)would once be my number one man in the world ;).
Absolute Beginners
I really like the scene when bowie is singing. The main actor looks a bit like him.
Just A Gigolo

I would love to see this film!
The Hunger
I just videotaped this one from TV. He is very pretty in this movie!! I just mentioned the hot shower scene to a friend!
Velvet Goldmine

Bowie does not appaer in this movie/musical! He wasn't involved with it in any way. It is a movie ABOUT david._______Let me explain it this way: when I had known about bowie for just a few months I went to the video rental shop and I saw the cover of "Velvet Goldmine" (I didn't even know it was the title of a bowie song)and I had never heard of it. But I did recognise the Ziggy Stardust haircut and the circle above the eyes of the boy on the cover, and of course I was interested immiediatly. I had a closer look but Bowies' name wasn't mentioned, not even in the soundtrack. That is why I was very surprised when I was watching the movie and recognised davidB as a Mod ,david bowie in the Hunky dory era, and at last a Ziggy Stardust figure(alias Maxwell Demon), all in the same persona(Jonathan Rays Meyer). There is also a persona as a Mick ronson/Iggy Pop mix (Ewan Mcgregor).
I understand why Bowie didn't allow them to use his music, the movie isn't good enough to represent bowies' life, still there are some really great parts in this film. You should definatly find out for yourselfs.
1984

This is just a very good movie!((so is the book) I was happy to see that George Orwells' story inspired bowie on his album Diamond Dogs.
