Introduction
To some of you David Bowie is your God , and also a big and beautiful part of your lives.
Two years ago, my uncle gave me 'Bowie@theBeeb'as a present, I had just turned 15 and had never heard of him before(not that I knew of anyways). I wasn't really into music at the time but when I looked at the Bowie@theBeeb booklet I just felt that it was something very special! I was in love right away.
Within the past two years I have learned how big an artist he is , and I got to know about a lot of other interesting artists of whatever kind.

Marc Bolan
Musician, singer.(died about 20 years ago) Known from T-rex. Their music is very good, Marcs voice was really something special. He is also very nice to look at as you can see on this photos
Brian Ferry/Roxy Music
Fantastic music! Roxy Music is among my favourites. Their music was also used for the soundtrack of 'Velvet Goldmine', a movie about the lives of two artists(based on David Bowies' and Iggy Pops' live).
The Pixies
They make good music,especially good lyrics. On Heathen David covered one of their songs 'Cactus'(written by Black Francis)(which is actually my favourite, and no, not because bowie covered it! hèhè).
Jim Morrison
Musician, singer from The Doors. Actually he's got nothing to do with DB. To me they are not to be compared! But still , I find him interesting, and I like their music.
Bob Dylan
Most people like his music, but he was also very important and source of inspiration to many musicians. I would also like to mention his extraordinary good looks, back in the 60ies/70ies.
Lou Reed
Used to be member of The Velvet Underground. His last album 'Raven' just came out.
Brian Eno
musician who has also cooperated with bowie.
Syd Barreth
Musician , singer from Pink Floyd!
Ozark Henry
Belgian artist(lyrics in english)You should certainly try to get to know his music! I also discovered he is a real bowie admirerer himself, I heard in an interview that he was very nervous about meeting him and of course didn't know anything to say ;p They ended up talking about Ozark himself, bowie says that he likes his work.
