optic nerve- The nerve that works as the the pathway that the light rays take from the retina to the brain for processing to an image. It is made of around a million tiny nerves bundled together.

pupil- The black spot in the center of the eye. Its size changes to control the amount of light entering the eye and reaching the retina. In the dark it expands allowing more light to enter and contracts in bright light to keep out extra light.
