Sometimes he 'regresses' to the way he was like as a puppy: extremely curious with a need to explore. History: He was pretty much left alone by his brothers and sisters due to his appearent crankiness whenever they tried to tease or play with him, and his habit of expressing his annoyance by pinning them under his abnormally large body and taking a nap, even if they nipped at him. Akira would much rather see how far he could get from his mother (or whomever was babysitting) before he was scolded than join in their antics, anyway. In the end, he turned out to be a little too good at it. While still a very young pup, he wandered all the way out of Hikari territory. Scared and alone, he wandered for a few days, afraid to howl and attract attention to himself, trying to find the river so he could maybe find his way home by it. A Jitsuko pack member found him weak and starving by the river and brought him to her pack. There they nursed him back to health, while teaching him the Jitsuko ways. He attempted a few times to go home, but his Jitsuko mother kept him where he was, for his own protection and because she knew that his large body would not make for a good Hikari. They tried to make him forget his old family, and succeeded in many ways, turning him into a true Jitsuko, but he still could not forgive them for not letting him go back home.
