She is confident with herself, despite her history, and gets on well with others. She's very good at diffusing tense situations and affectionate with friends and family, as well as any pups she can get her paws on. History: Ainhoa was born to Kamala, the sneaky beta female of her home pack, and Anwar. Ainhoa grew up in a fairly normal setting, and was second in command in that year's puppy pack, the leader being the son of the alpha pair who had the advantage of being a few weeks older. She and the male puppy leader were first to climb up the ranks, and at the age of three, through a series of events that included losing both her mother and father, Ainhoa was able to 'inherit' the alpha female position. The young male she had grown up with ousted his own father some months later. For six years, Ainhoa and her puppyhood companion were the well-liked leaders of their pack, and excellent parents besides. The pair of them raised over a dozen offspring to adulthood, but last summer Ainhoa's stable, enjoyable life was turned upside down. Her mate took a blow to the head from a moose the pack had been hunting, and he died a few hours later. Ainhoa was very much dependent on her mate's support to retain her position, and without him, she was deposed by a slightly older female and driven from the pack. Like any lone wolf, Ainhoa has been wandering in search of a new pack ever since. |
