Washed Away Footprints-ME-My Santa Story
First I wanna tell you what I think about Santa...
#1 My mom told me the "truth about Santa" more than a few years ago.
#2 Last year my expirience with Santa was terrible. I agreed to go sit in Santa's lap (last year) along with Pat (my rude brother) and Hope (my lil sis.) In our "picture" I am the only one smiling. The Santa they got last year at the mall, was rude and grumpy and frowning!
#3 I always think the idea of "Christmas" is bad enough. If your a good girl/boy ALL YEAR (that's completly impossible, everyone has urges) then you get the presents at the end of the year from Santa. On the other hand if your a bad little boy/girl you get a sack of coal. (That is just cruel. "If your not perfect, we're going to put coal everywhere!") On top of being perfect, you also have to bake d*mn cookies for that fat guy. Also remember to put out milk (making sure it doesn't go bad overnight)! Which is hardly celebrating the birth of Christ!
#4 I think Santa is rude. "I wear the suit, I get the cookies!" "Ho, Ho, I'm Santa! Come here reindeer!" (He seems to treat his reindeer poorly. "He travels all over the world in one night, delivering toys to everyone!" (A lot of people don't celebrate Christmas!) He seems to do none of the work! He drops the toys down your chimney (What if you don't have a fireplace?) then is off to the netx house. While the elves work all year. Mrs. Claus has to deal with all those freaking elves and still make Sanata comfortable, and bake cookies all year round!
#5 The idea of getting your picture taken with Santa is even worse! Go up to some stranger in red polyester. (Which freaks me out just thinking about it!) Go sit in this "Santa" dude's lap. (Ewww!) Tell him what you want for christmas. (After you spnd all that time making the letter "neat" that you just sent him.) Then you get blinded from a bright flash! (Ahhh! The light!) Then you walk away hoping the Santa dude will remember you, while licking a peppermint stick he gave you. (It's the least he could do.)

It all started when my mom, Hope (my lil sis) and I went to the mall. My mom wanted Hope to have her picture made with "Santa". Well we wait in line for 30 minutes waiting for Santa to come back from his lunch break. Well he finally come up the escalator. Lots of kids start cheering. "Look its Santa!" "I love Santa!" "It's Santa! Get ready!" Well this Santa dude starts shaking hands.
Apparently he has radar vision for depressed people and starts talking to me!
He started out by asking me what i wanted for Christmas.
Since I was over the whole "Santa thing" and was a very good sport about it last year..I replyed with "Leave me alone!" in a depressed voice. "Mrs. Claus" (the photographer) whispered in my ear "Don't be rude to Santa, honey, or you won't get any presents. I was just disgusted. (So basically, if your nice to the guy in red, at the mall, later, you get everything you've wanted, or some of it, anyhow, christmas time?) He was stunned an made an made an issue about dislikeing him. He said "WHAT?" in a voice as though he'd never heard that phrase before. My mom heard. (I'm now in trouble for being rude in public. Thanks Santa!) His mouth was still wide open in shock. He started working on my lil sis, "Wanna sit in my lap?" "Want your picture taken?" "Wanna tell me what you want for Christmas?" My sister finally replyed "NO!" (Good girl, Hope!) My sister is obviously afraid of Santa. (She is also afraid of clowns, but didn't mind taking a free balloon the week before!) My mom kept trying to get in his lap. (Ewww!) After 15 minutes of pleading my mom gave up, and we went to another section of the mall. Being rude to Santa like that, it felt nice. (Hehe..) I think that's how i'll deal with it for years to come. (I'm only 11)
