Get over the twisty kat thing. Dogs have been bred for thousands of
years and now we're finally doing it to cats. Cats have only been
intentionally domesticated for about 100 years and anything before that
was natural adaption. Theyve only been eating cat food for about 100
years. The creation of a kangaroo cat is incredibly interesting in my
idea. Being a amateur geneticist it fascinates me. But please, get over
the unnatural part of things. I know a wide variety of college students
who are doing everything from engineering new types of carnivorous
plants, to breeding bizarre new types of lizards. I even know of one
polydactyl owner who's cat has a opposable thumb that can grip and it
grips your knee when it sits on your lap. College students are very
curious and very inventive. Theyre figuring out how to genetically
engineer things in their kitchens by being very resourceful. The
continuation of life as art is going to continue regardless of anything
anyone tries to do to stop it. All sorts of weird science is going on,
there are scientists who have switched the heads of two monkeys and they
survived although quadripalegic. We will eventually be able to do the
same in humans by transplanting the head of a person dying of multiple
organ failure onto the body of a vegetable. Lots of weird and bizarre
stuff is going to happen and people are just going to have to get used
to it. Just as the first small pox vaccines were made from the ooze
juice of cow sores but now we dont tell you that, we just say its a
'vaccine' and leave it at that. Get over the ick factor or commit
suicide while you're still ahead. Billionaires and millionaires will be
able to practice whatever type of science they want such as growing a
twin to harvest organs from or for a head transplant to extend their
lifetimes to immortality. Nothing can stop the rich or grassroots
because they can both cant be tracked. You can only make examples, slow
things down perhaps, but nothing stops the progress of science.
