DupeDack walks around somewhere.

DupeDack: I hate all this color and brightness! Why I just hate it! It makes me unhappy!

DupeDack notices a purple flower and blasts it.

DupeDack: Purple! That is the worst color of all! I want to get rid of it! I think I'll destroy the protector of purple and make my dream come true!

DupeDack becomes a boy and walks on.

Ami and Miki stand outside of their school.

Ami: Miki, I hope we aren't late! I did stay a little longer than I should have in the library...

Miki: Hey, don't worry! We're fine.

Ami: Where's Ryu? Wasn't he going to come?!

Miki: Yeah, well it's only 2:45...

Ryu runs up to them.

Ryu: Hey, sorry I'm late.

Ami: That's okay, well, let's go! I have to pick up Akito.

Ami starts to walk on, the boys follow.

Miki: He gets out.. when?

Ami bumps into a boy.

Ami: Ahh!! I'm sorry!

Boy: That's okay. Wow, you're cute!

Ami: Uh... thanks...

Boy: My name is Ken.

Ami: Oh, I'm Ami. Nice to meet you.

Ken: Okay. Would you go out with me?

Miki: Wha???

Ryu: (aside to Miki) Uh... Wow! Who's he?

Miki: Ken.

Ryu: Oh.

Ami: Guys!! Sorry, but no.

Ken: Why? Why wouldn't you want to go out with me?!

Ami: No, no, sorry, but I don't think so.. Come on, Ryu, Miki..

Ami runs away, dragging Ryu and Miki.

Later at the elementary school, Ami and the rest pick up Akito.

Ami: How was school?

Akito: It sucked, but now I have primary grades fighting for me.

Ami: Oh... that's nice.

Makoto walks by and looks at the other rangers.

Makoto: Man, why am I always meeting up with you guys?

Ryu: You *like* us.

Ami: We must stick together, Makoto! Because we're a team! We're Rainbow Rangers!

Makoto: Whatever, I'm out of here.

Ami: No no, fate brought us together for some reason!! You must stay!

Makoto waves.

Ami: He's going away!!!

Miki grabs Makoto.

Miki: Hey, Mako, stick around, we'll talk, we'll hang out, I'll buy you dinner at McDonalds..

Makoto: Okay, fine fine..

Ken runs up to the group.

Ken: AMI!!

Ami: Oh, no... Oh, HI!

Ken: Hi, will you go out with me?

Ami: Um, no, Ken.

Makoto laughs.

Makoto: Hey, look Akito, it's Ken!

Akito, Ryu, and Miki laugh. Ami glares at them and they stop.

Ken: Come on, why not? Are you busy all the time or something? I can wait forever...

Ami: Well, um, I already have a boyfriend!

Miki: Huh?

Ami grabs onto Makoto's arm.

Makoto: Uh... hey, what's your problem.

Ami: (whispers) Just play along so I can get him away, please!

Makoto sighs.

Ami: Ken, this is Makoto, and we're going steady! Our relationship is so strong, so sorry, I can't go out with anyone else.. okay? Mako, this is Ken and he's been stalking me.

Makoto: Hi.

Ryu and the other rangers look shocked.

Ken: Hi... (softly) Damn!! How can I destroy Rainbow Purple now?!

Ami: What?

Ken: Oh, nothing.

Ami: Well, we should get going now. Come on, dear!

Ami walks along the sidewalk, holding Makoto's hand. Ryu and Miki exchange glances.

Ryu/Miki: "Dear"??

Ryu, Miki, and Akito follow, everyone walking away from Ken.

Ami: Thanks Makoto!

Makoto: What was that all about?

Miki: Yeah Ami, why didn't you pick me?

Ami is clueless.

Miki: Huh??

Ryu: Hey, never mind about that.

Ami: Ah! Well, I have to go do my homework! Bye bye guys! Makoto, can you drop Akito off for me? Thanks.

Makoto: Hey! I'm so used!

Miki: Hold on, I'll come with you.

Ami: No that's okay, I'll be fine. See ya!

Ami runs off into the park. She sees Ken walking up to her.

Ken: Ami!

Ami: Ken!! I told you I have a boyfriend! You're getting very annoying... please go away..

Ken turns into DupeDack.

Ami: Ah! What's going on??

DupeDack: I am DupeDack!! I will destroy you, Rainbow Purple! Purple will be gone forever!!

Ami: No way!!

Ami kicks DupeDack right in face and he falls down.

DupeDack: Ah! I'll get you for that!

Ami: Purple Rainbow Beam!

Ami becomes Rainbow Purple.

Ami: Purple Claw Sword!

Rainbow Purple gets her weapon.

DupeDack: I'm going to destroy you and your color, and there's nothing you can do about it!!

Ami: Oh yeah??

Rainbow Purple swings her Claw Sword at DupeDack. DupeDack blocks it and throws Rainbow Purple against a tree.

Ami: Ahh!!

DupeDack: You will die!!

Ami: No! I won't let you take my color!!

Meanwhile the boys are sitting at a table outside a McDonalds, talking.

Miki: I don't get it, what's so great about *Makoto*?

Akito: Aw, Miki, don't get jealous. I know you like Ami, but sorry, she doesn't like you. I know who she likes.

Miki: Shut up Akito!! I was just wondering. And no she doesn't like you.

Makoto laughs.

Makoto: So there was this loser named Ken...

Ryu/Miki/Akito: Makoto!!!

Makoto: Huh?

Miki: It's not funny!

Starie floats down from the sky.

Miki: Hey, is something wrong?

Ryu: What's up, Starie?

Starie: Ami's in trouble! She's fighting DupeDack in the park and needs your help!

Miki: Oh, no, Ami!! Come on guys, let's go!!

Ryu: Right!

Miki: Come on! Blue Rainbow Beam!

Ryu: Red Rainbow Beam!

Akito: Green Rainbow Beam!

Miki, Ryu, and Akito becomes Rainbow Blue, Rainbow Red, and Rainbow Green.

Makoto: I'll just stay here.

Miki: Stay here?? Listen jerk, you'd better go help your "girlfriend" before I beat you up!

Makoto: Uh... okay, okay, I'm going to help.. Yellow Rainbow Beam!

Makoto becomes Rainbow Yellow.

Back to where Rainbow Purple is losing against DupeDack.

Ami: I can still beat you, even if you are strong!

DupeDack: Hahaha, you know your color is not very colorful..

Ami: Shut up! Purple is the best color!

Rainbow Purple jumps toward DupeDack, but falls down before she reaches him.

DupeDack: Hahaha!

Suddenly, four colors fly and hit DupeDack, then the other Rangers are there.

Makoto: This is stupid..

Miki: Ami, are you okay??

Ryu: Red Power Sword!

Rainbow Red jumps at DupeDack, gets his weapon, and hits DupeDack with it. DupeDack reflects Rainbow Red's power back on him, and Rainbow Red flies back.

Ryu: Ah! Geez, stupid Dack!

Miki: Don't worry Ryu, we'll help you.

Ryu: Right. Come on guys!

Miki: Sure. Blue Echo Cannon!

Akito: Green Tree Branch!

Makoto: Yellow Tweet Gun!

The other rangers get their weapons.

Miki: Blue Echo Cannon-- fire!

Rainbow Blue hits DupeDack with a huge amount of energy.

Akito: Cool!! Now I go!

Rainbow Green waves his weapon and DupeDack gets hit with a bunch of leaves.

Makoto: Ahh!! It's still coming!!

Rainbow Yellow turns on the tweet gun. The other Rangers and DupeDack scream and hold their ears.

Everyone: STOP!!

Rainbow Purple smacks Rainbow Yellow.

Makoto: Ow, what is it?

Ami: I'll finish this.

Rainbow Purple uses her weapon on DupeDack, and DupeDack explodes.

Ami: Yeah!!

Rainbow blue runs up to Rainbow Purple.

Miki: Alright! You did it Ami!

Ami: Thanks! You know that Ken guy was actually that monster disguised?

Miki: No way!

Ryu: I thought he was a little weird.

Ami: Sorry Makoto, I think we have to break up.

Makoto: Okay, whatever.

Ami: Hee.

Ryu: You did great Ami!! That monster was really powerful! But you beat it anyway!

Ami: Oh, really?? Thanks Ryu!!

Makoto: Why did I need to do this again?

Akito: Shut up and have some fun Makoto. Boy that stupid Dack, I could have taken it with one hand behind my back!

Ami: Yeah right Akito, you couldn't even take your weapon.

Akito: Hey, that weapon is a tree branch!

The other rangers laugh.
